 | |||
| | Jesus had many disciples following Him, who listened to His teaching wherever | |||
| | He went. After a night spent in prayer, He chooses twelve men to be apostles, | |||
| | or messengers. These would be sent out to preach the good news of God's kingdom | |||
| | to the towns and vilages, and be the backbone of Jesus's ministry after He | |||
|  | left. | |||
|  |
 | |||
| | Once Jesus and the apostles come down from the mountain, He preaches to all His | |||
| | disciples and the very large crowd that is following them. By this point, Jesus | |||
| | is famous not only among the Jewish provinces, but also in the Gentile areas of | |||
| | Tyre and Sidon, which are along the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. They want | |||
| | to hear Him speak and also be healed of their diseases. | |||
